We have the finest pianos and beautiful studios. You need to take lessons on a REAL piano for piano lessons, and it helps with voice, too. Electric keyboards are fine for practice, but not for the lesson.

This is a GREAT time to start lessons! We teach weekdays and Saturdays. If you take music lessons they will increase intelligence, last a lifetime, and make your life more enjoyable. Children who take music lessons get higher grades in school and higher SAT scores, getting them into better colleges and universities, and even getting them better scholarships.
We are interested in providing the highest quality music education available. We are NOT a commecial store where their main interest is in renting and selling instruments and selling merchandise and their music lessons are an afterthought.

WE do not offer class or group lessons, nor do we offer home lessons. Lessons in a professional studio have a much better atmosphere, and the child knows the importance of lessons when he or she has to go to a studio.
Please, make sure BEGINNERS start with a qualified, experienced, professional teacher, such as one from Townsend. See below.
Because our staff is made up of professional musicians, we can teach the beginner as well as the very
ADVANCED STUDENT. (Several of our instructors hold MASTERS DEGREES in music as well as Bachelor of
Music degrees) In addition, our instructors are ALL excellent, proficient musicians. We have been teaching
the correct way to play or sing for over 59 years. Students learn to read music, count, and play. They also
learn the correct posture, correct technique, theory, etc.
Some music history and music appreciation is also included.
Start lessons with our professional instructors and you can be sure you are being taught correctly.
